Project Title: Supporting Technology Transfer: Using Capstone Projects to Identify Needs in the Region

Project Summary: The aim of the project is to support effective technology transfer through the mechanism of supervised student capstone projects with industry partners, as part of an Information Technology degree. The project aligns with a key Whitireia research strategy which requires applied degrees to be informed and supported by on-going relevant research and development. It meets regional business needs identified through industry connections, advisory groups and past graduates.
