	George Tongariro	George has worked at Whitireia for a total of ten years and is passionate about student success and students learning basic programming. He is a keen sportsperson playing Rugby for Norths and Indoor netball. He enjoys fishing and diving and other outdoor activities. His research interest is in building capability and capacity in an Indigenous IT environment. 	Sunil Bedi	Sunil is currently teaching the following subjects: IT5183 - Fundamentals of System Design & Development (Level 5) This course covers important fundamental concepts like SDLC, System Design, Information Systems etc. and contributes to laying a solid grounding for future IT professionals. IT5184 - Programming (Level 5) This course covers programming concepts in a modern high level programming language like C#.NET. We start from the basic concepts like OOP principles, loops, conditional statements, console and GUI based applications, event handling, code behind etc. and move on to more advanced topics like virtual functions, delegates etc. The overall goal of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and familiarity of modern day programming languages like C# to become proficient programmers.
